Mark grew up in a Christian family in Ireland with 3 brothers. He has been involved with Scripture Union since attending SU Camps in Ireland as a child, and then later as a leader, which was instrumental in developing his Christian faith.

He studied business management at the University of Hull in the UK before travelling the world in 2010. Upon arriving in Australia as a backpacker he spent seven years in Brisbane working in fundraising and digital marketing, and set up his own business in 2014.

He co-led a connect group in his church and has been a part of Evans Head SUFM for several years. In 2017 Mark became an Australian citizen and moved to Sydney to begin working as Partnership Director.

Much like the old reformers, Mark enjoys nothing more than gathering in a cosy pub to drink craft beer and discuss theology. He also loves cats, single malt scotch and rugby.
