Miki

The thing I most enjoyed was seeing the kids getting an opportunity to know more about God and develop their faith. I learnt about my faith and how important it is to really apply myself to receive an outcome. I learnt how important the little things are in sowing the seed of the gospel as it develops their curiousity and willingness to learn more about Christ.

Sophie

I have not only enjoyed watching and guiding the children in their growth, but I have enjoyed growing myself. I had the opportunity to explore my faith and learnt how to teach children in sports and Bible studies. I have learnt was the phrase "child's faith" truly means. I have learnt more about how God speaks through the Bible and prayer. I wouldn't change a thing about SUPAserve NT.

Shania

What I enjoyed most about SUPAserve NT was growing my faith. I got to get to know myself more and experience working with children. I learnt that everything God does is good. He makes no mistakes and comes to us when we need him the most.

Elisha

I most enjoyed connecting with the children and taking them on an adventure. I learnt how to explain my relationship with God to children and how to teach them well. I learnt that Jesus can work through anyone in order to get his message across to children of all ages. So many stories in the Bible are told which can relate to young children. This experience was perfect.

Bec

I most enjoyed witnessing kids grow in their faith - to see those lightbulb moments during the week. I learnt how to implement sports into a program and create balance. I learnt about "child-like" faith - how not to get caught up in technicalities and to just trust in God.

Jordy

I enjoyed getting to know the kids and having an opportunity to lead something. I learnt that I work well being part of a team. I learnt that I like to listen to others’ input to further my ideas. I learnt that God can use bad situations for really good things; it is all part of his plan. Other teen leaders should consider joining next year’s SUPA Serve team because it is a great experience to learn leadership skills, get to know God and the people you come with and meet. Also, the kids are really cute!

Karlee

I enjoyed sharing the Gospel, seeing how much I know and learning more so I can share that with the kids. Being able to lead a group was a great experience. I learnt that I have the ability to share what I know about God. I would normally underestimate my ability because I often feel like I don’t know enough. I learnt what Joseph went through and how he forgave his brothers eventually (my role in the daily drama really helped with this). God uses us in many ways. Other teen leaders should consider joining next year’s SUPA Serve team because it is an incredible experience to meet amazing new people to share the experience with. You can feel the Holy Spirit throughout the whole trip and you learn so much about being a Christian.

Jayden

I enjoyed having so much fun with the kids and forming a stronger relationship with God. I learned that my Belbin team role is “Plant”, which means I can generate ideas but I need to be careful that I listen to other people’s ideas and don’t rule over them. I learnt that God uses us in ways that we wouldn’t necessarily think of. Other teen leaders should consider joining next years SUPA Serve team because it is the best experience and you will get a lot out of it as it opens up your eyes even more to Jesus.

Sam

I enjoyed breaking down the barriers with the kids and really connecting with them. I was reminded just how much impact we as a team have with the kids. I saw first hand how much value God placed on two year 5 kids who said the ‘Thank you, Sorry, Please’ prayer, it was as if he sat in and did the prayer with us. Other teen leaders should consider joining next year’s SUPA Serve team because it gives you a chance to lead with Jesus right by your side.

Jennifer

I enjoyed working and playing with the kids, plus also working on my leadership and teamwork skills. I learnt that my Belbin report stated that I was not a team worker and that some people could see me as a threat. I learnt that you don’t have to be a specific person to be on Jesus’ team. Other teen leaders should consider joining next year’s SUPA Serve team because you can work with other people and play with kids while seeing the wonderful places in Darwin. It is also a happy environment and the locals are so nice.

Samuel

I enjoyed the activities with the kids and talking with Glenn. I learnt that I can work with a team. I learnt that everyone has different views of the Bible. Other teen leaders should consider joining next year’s SUPA Serve team because it is a great way to work with other people and kids.

Carol

I enjoyed watching teams work together to make things happen. I learnt that I need to trust others to do the job without making suggestions – however, if it tanks, then step in. I learnt to trust God, even in the pit, as he is there with you whether you can see it or not!

Keerthie

I enjoyed engaging with the kids. I learnt the importance of prayer. I learnt about God’s promise. Other teen leaders should consider joining next year’s SUPA Serve team because of the children

Glen

I enjoyed explaining the gospel and the story of Joseph to the kids. I learnt that in spite of outside noise influences (such as road works), God still does his work. Other teen leaders should consider joining next year’s SUPA Serve team because G1 is cool.
